Thai massage therapy offers a beautiful therapeutic meditative movement practice that offers profound benefits for both client and partitioner, promoting free flow of vital forces while releasing tensions and imbalances. This one month 200hr intensive trains students to practice Thai massage therapy as a primary massage modality, working with client's fully clothed on a mat on the floor. Thai massage is more than a "modality" - it as a beautiful, ancient system of mobilizing and vitalizing the body, especially the effective for working with fascial layers and channels of movement. The program offers a total of 200 hours of in-person massage therapy education, including - 120 hours of hands-on, in-person massage therapy instruction - 16 hours Hydrotherapy with Thai herbal compress - 64 hours of faculty-supervised student Thai massage therapy clinic. Students who complete the 200 hours will be offered certificate of Certified Thai Massage Therapist Class meets 8 hours per day, six days per week over 29 days. This program is special for its Thai massage student clinic experience where students gain experience applying their skills in service on many types of bodies such that at graduation they are truly prepared. This program is offered to both currently licensed massage therapists as well as to unlicensed massage students who wish to pursue professional training to become a skilled professional Thai massage therapist. The 200hr Thai massage therapist program is designed as a transformative growth experience for dedicated professionals, it is not setup as a "beginner's course". While it is not required that one be licensed to register for the course, most students will have previous professional massage therapy, physical therapy, professional movement / dance / yoga / athletic training.
