Cupping for Massage

Course Description

Description: This course is ideal for Licensed Massage Therapists looking to understand cupping as a technique and how they may incorporate this into the practice, and which pathologies or types of clients would benefit most from such a treatment. Practical Skills Development: Students will come to know the benefits of cupping therapy as well as adverse effects of such treatment. Students will be introduced to contraindications around cupping and discuss guidelines for safe practice. We’ll review cup and taping options while overviewing common layouts used in practice.
