Ethics: Cultural Competency for Massage

Course Description

For those looking to deepen, refresh, or update their understanding of the ethics involved in practicing massage as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Practical Skills Development: In this class we will discuss the complex concept of cultural competency, its ethical components, and how it applies to your massage practice. We will identify how to be aware of our own cultures as well as the cultures of our clients and coworkers, and display competency, inclusion, and respect diversity during intercultural interactions. This class is: ✅ LIVE ✅ In-person at our school location in Albuquerque, New Mexico Do I need an LMT License to attend this offering? No Anyone can take this course. LMT’s in New Mexico are required to have 4 hours of ethics every 2 years for license. Requirements: None
