Introduction to Traditional Thai Massage

Course Description

Practiced on a mat on the floor, fully clothed, Thai massage utilizes a range of expanded tools and techniques that are highly efficient and effective in supporting restoring vitality and healthy ranges of motion throughout the body. When practiced with correct technique, the practice feels truly amazing both for the client and practitioner, supporting a successful and sustainable professional practice. This introductory course is as an elective for professional program students as well as 24 hours of continuing education credit for licensed massage therapists in New Mexico. This course is intended to provide an foundation for the practice and prepare students for further study. No prior experience necessary. Course includes four hours of ethics to satisfy New Mexico state ethics requirements. Use code METTA2023 for 15% off with registration before September 30.
