June 20 | The Hip and Low Back: Deep dive into the Low Back, Hip, and SI Joint. This session addresses the structural imbalances of the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex that often manifest as chronic lower back pain. We will focus on the relationship between the psoas and quadriceps and their influence on pelvic tilt, while applying targeted protocols for the tensor fasciae latae (TFL) and the sacrotuberous ligament to support SI joint stability. The course also includes a specific focus on the deep gluteal layers—specifically the gluteus medius and minimus, as well as the deep rotators like the obturators and gemelli. By addressing these key stabilizers, therapists can help alleviate sciatic nerve compression and restore functional movement to the lower spine and hips.
