Therapeutic Taping uses a flexible elastic bandage with latex-free and waterproof adhesive that is applied to the skin for the purpose of pain relief. By the end of this course students should be able to: Describe taping therapy. Recall research-based benefits. Understand adverse effects and contraindications. Identify and select different types of tape. Understand items needed for a taping treatment. Practice guidelines for safe practice of taping therapy. Perform taping layouts on the back, shoulder, arm, knee, ankle, and wrist. This class is: ✅ LIVE ✅ In-person at our school location in Albuquerque, New Mexico Do I need an LMT License to attend? No, anyone with an interest in this topic can join this course. We are asking students to bring 2 rolls of tape and a good pair of scissors.
