Course Description

Learn how to treat and alleviate some of the most common postural distortions coming into your massage practice. * Leg length discrepancies * Chronic one-sided low back or hip pain * Weak hip stabilizing muscles * Pelvic tilt Class is good for 8 CE's in the state of New Mexico and starts at 8:30am. Neuromuscular therapy has been around for 100 years and includes analysis of client's posture, myofascial release techniques, and Trigger Point therapy. It is an all-inclusive therapy session from the moment the client completes their intake form, throughout the hands-on treatment, to the stretches given at the end of the session. This class can be taken as a standalone course for 8 credit hours. It is also part of the Neuromuscular Therapy Certification Series. The student must complete 100 hours (including clinic) for certification. Please email neurocon@windstream.net for more information on the certification.
