Full Time Program
At New Mexico School of Massage, we want you to experience the entirety of the massage experience! Through our rigorous classes and programs, experiential learning in our massage clinic, and community-oriented campus, we promise to create a learning environment which fosters your professional and personal growth.
Our in-person programs in Albuquerque, New Mexico, are here to support you, whether your goal is becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist professionally, continuing your education as a therapist, or simply continuing your personal journey of self-inquiry and healing. Our sincerest wish for you is that you remain inspired along this healing path no matter where you are in your journey!

Inspired by Vasant Lad
As the founder and director of The Ayurvedic Institute, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Vasant Lad has worked tirelessly for the last 40 years to bring the deep insights and transformative power of Ayurveda to the West. His passion for healing has garnered him respect throughout the world, and he is considered the premiere authority on Ayurveda outside of India. His numerous books have been translated into over 20 languages and have sold over 700,000 copies in the US alone. His teachings range from introductory courses in Ayurveda and yoga to advanced clinical pathology immersion and include hands on classical therapies.
Dr. Susan Salvo
EdD, BCTMB, LMT
Dr. Susan is a practicing massage therapist with over 35 years of experience, and has also written two best-selling massage textbooks and contributed to many other publications. She teaches prolifically, and learns just as prolifically: with a bachelors and doctorate in education, and a masters in instructional technology, she seeks knowledge just as much as she shares it. In her words, her primary teaching goals are to increase quality of client care, expand therapeutic treatment options, and to create an educational environment of discovery and engagement. A long-time chartered member of the Louisiana AMTA, she was awarded Member of the Year in 1989 and a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003.
